A Little Bit About Me

Salam,

I am family-orientated and love oils and perfumes. I don't know why I even mentioned that because oils and perfumes are a hobby whereas being family-orientated is more of a personality trait. Anyway, I am a complex person yet simple.

If I am not working then I am either doing some Arabic calligraphy, sudoko, word searches or cooking. I enjoy researching and collecting duas, it is therapeutic. No matter what my mood is, I will cook and I enjoy feeding people. I like writing in black ink and do not like people who like Calibri font. As much as I would love to say I enjoy travelling and exploring, I have not done much since I have been busy with studies, family and work. Technically, I have travelled a lot since I work in aviation and I can see the world from my two screens at work. Does that count?

I also think I am funny so if you are not then do not worry about it. However, I do have my Iron Man 3 (awful jokes) moments. But deep down, I am Logan and Matthew Murdock. I am grumpy but do my best to tolerate people by smiling because it is Sunnah.

I don't celebrate khatams or milaad but I do celebrate this sense of humour Allah has given me.

My level of religiosity: I pray 5x and tahajjud Alhamdulilah. I wear the hijab and read Quran as well. I do not celebrate khatams or milaads, I only celebrate this sense of humour Allah has blessed me with. Alhamdulilah x 6000

Something creepy/questionable about me:

At age 4: I killed our neighbourhood cat by putting a rock on it because it killed our chicks.

At age 5: On my sister's 10th birthday, I killed the two rabbits she got as a gift because they were pure white and had red eyes so I thought they were evil.

Having said all this, my grandfather was in the police but didn't press charges against me at that age so I don't have a criminal record. I am grateful for him, may Allah grant him Jannah, ameen. I am sure you can guess I am not pet friendly unless it's a panda or a baby elephant or a little lamb.

What I Am Looking For
It is important that my husband is a Sunni and is Muslim since birth. Preferably in London and has to have a plan in his life. I am looking for a man who is supportive and disciplined who is God conscious and prays and dedicates his time in striving to learn Quran and Sunnah.

Ideally a man who understands his responsibility as a Muslim man, a son, brother, husband and of course, father one day insha'Allah. He has to be realistic, educated, earn a halal living, committed and understand that life is not always perfect and neither is his wife (joke, I am perfect). He does not have to be funny because I already am. I am not looking for perfection because I already am (joke), rather I am looking for a man who is loyal and has the motivation to strive and persevere. I'd like him to be loyal to me as I am loyal to him.

Most importantly, I am looking for a man who wants to build a family and raise kids with Islam being the foundation and backbone to our family insha'Allah.
